About this user
I'm proud of my country as you can see...
One of my cousins knew Benigno S. Aquino and If you don't know who he is he was a former Philippine senator, governor and mayor and a leading oppositionist to the autocratic rule of Ferdinand Marcos. He was assassinated at the Manila International Airport (now named the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in his honor) upon returning home from exile in the United States. His death catapulted his widow, Corazon Aquino, to the limelight and subsequently to the presidency, replacing the 20-year-old Marcos regime.
As Benigno S. Aquino once said
"The Filipino is worth dying for."
