It would make more sense to do such hop-up work as you have done to a Briggs Animal or Raptor engine, since those are designed for severe, race use and have much stronger internals than your basic 5 hp B&S engine. Scoring a Raptor on Ebay or CL isn't hard to do and you can transfer all your stuff...

@TheCottonTop Exactly. There is a simple tutorial posted as a video response to this laughable attempt at "engineering" that shows anyone with half a brain how to make a lawn tractor go faster. Anyone with the engineering "expertise" of understanding how a bicycle works can figure it out.

@kennykid25 You don't have to be such a juvenile with your profane schoolyard insults. Listen to the audio in the video...You can plainly hear the engine tone change, as it becomes further under load as the gear ratios change. Just letting off the gas wouldn't cause this. There is either a shift...

@kennykid25 Yeah, he let off the gas at the same exact intervals to mimic the sound of a transmission shifting, then goes on to say it has a "snowmobile transmission". Sure.
