@usdaben -- Well, I live about 90 minutes away from San Francisco by car, and I commute there once a week for lessons in how to make leather bags from an incredibly good teacher there. I'll bet there's a group of folks within commute distance of you who'd love to take lessons from you!

@christophernejman This is an Artisan skiver. If I had it to do over again, I'd probably get the skiver sold through "The Leather Machine Company" 'cuz I really like their customer support. It's just the best. His machinery is generally a couple of cuts above the norm, also.
