Anybody remember 6sick6 (or is it sick6sick?- it's been a long time) and Shadow Of Doubt? I can't find any of their tunes online and it'd be cool to hear something. I remember them being good.

I like this guy's broad definition of a genre. Too much time is spent on labelling and pigeon-holing particular bands- both by fans and capitalist record producers & labels for the purpose of selling to those fans.

Ever see Club Babyhead shake like a Los Angeles earthquake? These guys always had a great crowd and great fan base.

By the way, Blood For Blood might deny it, and they'd be wrong, but Suburbia is the life-blood of Hardcore. Do It Yourself lived and breathed in the suburbs when I was going to shows. No label, no clubs- record it yourself and rent the VFW. Suburbia is the impetus of Hardcore's heartbeat.

Avalon on Landsdown Street in Boston circa 1994, I saw Fishbone perform this song. The singer crowd surfed from the stage to the back of the club and back singing this song the whole time. Tremendous.

Check out the original song on the Superfly soundtrack. I like this version better but both are good. As matter of fact, Superfly is a good flick and the soundtrack is too- definitely out of my personal musical comfort zone but it's good.
