its called a triplet cos u count like 1-trip-let, 2-trip-let etc etc. 1-e-and-a, 2-e-and-a etc is used to count sixteenths with r a completely different different subdivision

this was an ok cover. The drummer looked bored and it showed in his playing. The singer can't sing. can't really fault the other two they were fine tbh but the drummer needs a bit more life in him for god sake

@vokuno Lars uses double bass flurries all the time when he plays this. But then again, its HIS songs so he can play it how he wants haha

everyone is "blah blah best he's the best drummer" or "blah blah blah he sucks"; the reason the drums are not as "impressive" as some other songs on Ride The Lightning is because this song is a ballad. Its called playing with restraint and for the song.

this is a cool cover but his cymbals r too high in the mix and i think opening the hi hat during the chorus is too much but other than dat the drumming is cool

double bass is when u use two feet to play 16th note patterns. Lars play the trash beat using ONE foot therefore no double bass

wow Roddy kills on this vid. Thomes Pridgen is an amazing drummer too but its kinda funny when he tries to do the ride bell accents during the blast beats Roddy was showing him, he looked like a beginner again XD

This song reminds me of something off of And Justice For All, it has that kinda feel about it. These unrealised songs have some of Kirk's best solos since AJFA but dats just my opinion

other than the fact that there is no double bass underneath, what is the difference between a one handed roll and the snare part of a blast beat?
