Welcome to my channel! My name is Elissa. I had my lap RNY Gastric Bypass on Monday, February 9, 2009. I consider it my date of rebirth. It's a rebirth, a journey, a new way of life.

As I write this it has only been 4 days since my surgery, but I already feel the changes in myself - not just physical, but the most important changes - those that are mental, psychological and emotional. I can only begin to imagine what this new life journey has in store for me.

I hope to chronical this new journey through my videos here. Thank you to all of you who also share your journeys - your thoughts, feelings, advice, humor, etc. are invaluable.
