He and Ward had similar political leanings. That is the reason for the lack of Oscars. Real shame. Ward should have won quite a few supporting roles. And Duke should have won more leads. Politics should have no place in Oscar voting. KP

Ward was actually the star and was paid a good bit more than the others. It is quite easy to see that he carried the movie. I think Ford was trying to see if Ben could play some rolls for Duke. This showed that he couldn't although he was a decent character actor brought up from Stuntman. One of...
