About this user
My name is Ben and I'm a drummer who's been playing for about 4 years. I am a mainly metal drummer with my band, but I play a variety of genres from Ska, Reggae, Jazz, Punk, Rock, Hip-Hop, and Classical Percussive Music. In my band, I help to write both lyrics, the drum parts, and structure the songs. We formed as a band about 3 years ago, just me and the guitarist Chris. We got serious last year, playing for our school's Rock Show and Carnival. We hope to be able to make a decent living as a band and remain together as friendly as we are. In my spare time, I make drum covers and go to concerts, as well as run long distance and hang out with my friends.
My band is currently called Aim For The Shadow. It used to be called Blinded By Fear.
My Acoustic Drum Kit is a Beginner's Groove Percussion.
My Electric Drum Kit Is A Roland TD-9 Model with Real-Feel Heads made by Remo, all Dual-Trigger pads and cymbals.

Description of Sticks
I mostly like to use 5As when recording or playing with my band, but I like to practice with 5Bs for the heavier weight. I have a variety of sticks from concerts, such as As I Lay Dying and The Who, or from vacations, as in The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. I also have light up drum sticks, and 2Bs for marching and school percussion use. I use nylon-tipped Vic Firth 5A's, Pro-Mark 5B's, and Hornet Sticks in playing.

I'm a drummer, a runner, a tennis player, and a musician. I live for many things, and music is a huge part of my life.
