THUD full concert Spring 2012: THUD Rock

Our full concert from Spring 2012, THUD Rock. In this concert we perform an original rock song, new student-composed mallet pieces, a quintet for drumset, a dubstep-percussion remix, a marimba duet, and several nontraditional pieces, which use chalkboards, rock/paper/scissors, and canes. As always, we end with our newest version of the THUD classic, Cups.

Our full concert from Fall 2011, THUD TV. In this concert we perform the full Simpsons theme, an original composition for mallets and shaker, a piece for basketballs, a Ginastera sonata with piano drumming, our newest version of Buckets, a Piazzola tango suite, an original composition for stools and chairs, Rochambeaux, and our newest version of the THUD classic, Cups. Interspersed throughout are brief TV and commercial themes as we flick through channels (and one elaborate cell phone ringtone).

Our full concert from Spring 2011. This one is Robot themed, with an original composition for percussion and synth, a robot fight, a robot-conducted concerto, and Daft Punk mashup. Also featuring an original body-percussion piece, a collaboration with Irish dancers, and new versions of bucket drumming, and of course, our classic "Cups"

Our full concert from fall of 2010. The group took it back to the basics of percussion and rhythm, as well as back in time. The concert includes a Decades Medley, interpretations of Steve Reich's Clapping Music, a stripped down drumline, and "The Devolution of Writing"
