I'd like to share my experiences of Autism. Many people seem to find the worlds of my sons fascinating :) (as do I of course).

I am no expert and I do not claim to know all the answers, but I do my research, and I know my kids.
My view is that of yes they are autistic, how do continue to keep their life happy.

I refuse to subscribe to the ''woe is me'' outlook, there is nothing to fight, there is nothing to blame, they are who they are, and that is two little boys who I love.
As I like to say:
Autism does not have my sons, they have it (in a Vulcan death grip, or ''posted'' or shoved somewhere it shouldn't be)

I don't want to fight a war against Autism, it is not a terrorist organisation.

However, my boys are weapons of mass destruction. . . . not because they are autistic, but because they are boys!
