I definitely think that it's the characters that draw more. But the best performers in wrestling history are the wrestlers that could get their character across in the ring without a microphone in their hand.

People always bring up the competition angle - but it's just a cop out. It's not like they don't have incentive to do better without competition. They have the greatest incentive of all 100% of the time - MONEY!

Foo Fighters have made an awful lot of videos I don't like. This is my favourite song on Wasting Light, but the video takes away from the atmosphere of the song in a big way. Not really important, given that I usually listen to it on cd, but they're not great at matching video to song.

I loved Frogstomp, but the band is changing. Not only is it changing but it is getting better. Young Modern has been their best and most original album. It actually raised my opinion of the band considerably. Some people are just too attached to the past.

In all seriousness though, while those two are my favourites, Vedder and Cornell are epic also. It all comes down to taste really. As a genre grunge can credit itself with having had some of the most talented vocalists going.

Meanwhile, having him win the title in a randomly thrown together fourway match makes him look like a flash in the pan. Edge's win - while transitional probably - was better than having Del Rio winning. And way better than having Kane retain.
