The band formed in 1998 in Germany and has released 2 official albums and a couple of tour-only-CDs. They toured Europe & Texas and played with the likes of Earl Poole Ball (Johnny Cash), Eddie Perez (Dwight Yoakam) or Tommy Spurlock (Jon Wayne) - All of these musicians joined the Twang on their album "Let There Be Twang" which was partly recorded in Texas. The Twang take well known Rock-, Pop-, HipHop-, Heavy-, or Disco-Tunes and play them in a true Country-Style
