The Firefly Festival is actually based on a real event in Japan. This event in Japan is called the "Bon Festival" or "Obon Festival". Like in Animal Parade, its when you send paper lanterns down a river or a lake to pay respects to your ancestors.

That suit you had on is called the "Evil Armor" or something right? That armor is cursed and it drains away your HP. Wasn`t it kinda dangerous to be wearing that suit while fighting such a dangerous battle?
