@omurchu12 I'm sure you know what you're talking about, however, in Elvis' defense (if you can call it that) he was heavily reliant on the meds at this point which is bound to affect his precision. He should be better than this after 14 years of devotion to the sport, so I think he's got it in him.

@willyjhopuky1 no, august 1977. There's footage of two elvis concerts (professionally recorded) only 2 months earlier in June, 1977. Search for Elvis 1977 or Elvis In Concert and find out just how sick the legendary performer was :/

@MrScandall3 But the memphis-concerts were in '74, at least the ones that were professionally recorded. Maybe there's a '75 memphis-concert I haven't heard of, but the famous ones were in '74. That's all I wanted to point out, we seem to see eye to eye on the rest

@LT1HILLINGHOE He kept a ranch in which he and his friends would ride around frequently on their horses. He sold it later on but in the late 60's at least they did so. There's some footage of it.

I am a very dedicated fan of Elvis' but I don't particularly like the "Aloha from Hawaii" He seems tired and he hardly moves, even the '77 material is more interesting at times.

TTWII and Elvis On Tour is what gets me going video-wise.
