Kundalini Kriya Yoga: The Sacred Fire Rite of the Yogi - Sanskar TV Ep 3

6,314 views 3 months ago
[Question]Guruji, could you tell us more about Kriya Yoga? I only read about it in books.

[Answer] Kriya Yoga, is a spinal process, it is breathing, it is called the Sacred Fire Rite of the Yogi. There are two currents involved in the practice of Kriya Yoga. One is the pranic current, which flows from the Muladhara Chakra to the Ajna Chakra. It is upward and ascending. The other is the apanic current which flows from the third eye down to the Muladhara base center. So these two pranic and apanic currents are utilized in the evolution of your consciousness...It is known as the prana apana yajna. The Sacred Fire Rite of the Yogi...Now let me explain what Kriya Yoga does.
Kriya Yoga evolves from man the brute, to man the man, to man the God, all the while concentrating in the spine.

He/she who offers prana apana yajna. He who offers the inhaled into the exhaled breath and the exhaled into the inhaled breath, you see, He/She awakens his/her kundalini. That's why it is known as Kundalini Kriya Yoga.

He who does the Yogic fire ceremony. Kundalini herself is fire. Kundalini herself is fire. But what does Kundalini herself do? Kundalini is a nagan (serpent). Kundalini is the serpent. You've heard of Kundalini, Aye? Kundalini is the nagan (serpent). Kundalini awakens. What does she do? She destroys your ego. The Yogi's enlightened. So when the seven layers of Kundalini [are awakened] or even the third, fourth, fifth layer, then he gets to states of enlightenment. This is what Kriya yoga does...
Kriya Yoga, the spinal breathing, not only gives you enlightenment, but at a lower level gives you recooperative rest. All these techniques which have been taught are baby techniques. Compared to Kriya which is so deep, it gives therapeutic, recooperative and repairs your cells. So what happens if your cells are rested, anti-aging occurs.

If you see a Yogi, he/she will usually be glowing. If you see a Yogi, you have a little clairvoyance or spiritual vision, you will see a light emitting from his face, his eyes, his body. Any Yogi who would call himself a Yogi must have these qualifications. You should be able to see all these things, you should be able to feel that and He should be able to throw his Prana. That is the SatGuru who initiates you without moving from his place. That is a direction for you because today, no naming names, many people are misled and disappointed. But there are things to observe in a Yogi, that is how you know the Yogi. These are the qualities a Yogi should have.
