Recurring mistake: Taking off at too-low speed.

Excellent save! The plane must have been very tail heavy after the motor said goodbye! And a very stall-resistant model at low speed and high aoa.

Great plane, and great piloting. Engine power at takeoff looks marginal, but scale like. Takes an experienced pilot to handle a takeoff without excess power reserves!

You need a weight at the end of the line. Standard requirement for all full-size helicopter lifting as well. Otherwise the line will end up in the rotor.

Many comments misses basic facts: The winch cable braks at 80m, and the unlucky pilot is forced to attempt a 180 deg turn and tailwind landing from very low altitude.

As a recent buyer of an DX8/AR800 system I am also happy say that a few RXes, the AR8000 included, has been DSMX enabled from day one. Never mind that the units are labeled DSM2. Even existing TM1000's telemetry modules are DSMX enabled.

And the fact that all combinations of DSMX and DSM2 units ...
