-The glaciers are shrinking rapidly.
-Significant amounts of water are being used and polluted in the tar sands oil production and large scale farms.
-Underground water sources are being rapidly depleted.

What needs to be done:

-Secure safe, reliable and sufficient drinking water for all citizens.
-Protect and restore water systems and environment in which they function.
-Manage our water demands.
-Respond innovatively to climate change.
