Montages are rapidly becoming more boring and unoriginal. In the early days of CoD4 sniping 'no scopes' was a fascinating and alien concept to the CoD community;and as I recall there were about 8-12 famous no scopers that produced montages. Slowly more people decided to do the same and nowadays everyone and their dog has a capture card, and almost all montages now are ridiculously over edited or have some shit song played over it. This has lead to the outburst of boring as hell commentaries and many of the 'legends' such as zzirgrizz becoming machinima whores. The originality and brilliant simplicity of vintage CoD4 sniping montages will never be replicated and it's a shame.
