This channel is devoted to the musical endeavors of my daughter, Emily, a singer, musician and composer who wishes to "change the world" with her music.

Emily has been singing and writing music for as long as we can remember, and people say she has the voice of an angel.

She won her first young composer's contest when she was just 7 years old with a piece called "Angels Dancing" written for harp, solo voice and SATB choir, which she performed with a full 60 member adult choir!

She has, by now, written dozens of musical pieces, mostly for voice but many instrumentals as well. She finished her first complete opus when she was just 9 years old. This past December her Christmas song, "(That's) What Christmas Is To Me", was part of VOICES Chorale's Christmas concert series, entitled, "Once In Royal David's City."

She has been studying piano for two years and after being self-taught on harp since age 7, she began formal study on Sept. 1 of this year.

Emily also began studying jazz piano this past summer, whereupon she declared that, "Jazz saved my life!" Meaning her life at the piano ... jazz has brought a lot of joy and inspiration to her that we hope to in turn share with all of you at some point!

Emily performs on a regular basis locally. She has appeared in almost 20 local musical theater productions, 3 ballets, and is a regular soloist/feaatured performer.

We are deeply grateful for all of those who continue to support her belief that music can make the world a better place.
