About this user

In 2010, John Farr of Creative Media Group and I, Chris Dortch of High Quality Media merged our production companies. We have done extensive work with Donny and Marie Osmond, Novell, Symantic, Blendtech, and many others. Recently we shot footage for and did the online, color-grade, and visual effects for the BBC documentary: The Story of Jesus (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b010pv3y).

Aside from doing work-for-hire we have put countless hours into creating a library of stock footage. We were one of the first Red camera (www.red.com) owners in Utah and have shot extensively with it for years now. We have also created patent pending technology to aid in the capture of HDR footage and astro-timelapse.
In Nobember of 2010 and then again in February of 2011 we spent a month shooting Red footage and dollying astro-timelapses in Israel. A promo of the royalty free stock we shot in Israel can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyd3DT9LYAw

Royalty Free Stock Video Footage is a popular addition to many productions. We currently have about 5,000 of our 15,000 clips being distributed by either Getty or the various Royalty Free Stock Distribution outlets. Our best footage is not currently being distributed anywhere; however, we have just finished the color-grading and metadata for 5,000 of our recent clips (Israel, Everest, Military, etc.) and will have an additional 5,000 clips finished before the end of the year.
