You have to be able to eat things like pizza to fully recover. If you just eat healthy things it's still eating disordered. They teach you that you can eat things like chips and cake sometimes without having to feel guilty. Im in recovery myself.

most anorexics binge and purge because of the imense force of your body trying to stay alive during starvation. No matter what mental strength you have it's like your body takes over and you cant control it. i know this from experience with anorexia.

I am anorexic myself and too me its not about being 'model perfect' thin, its about a self hatred so deep with than can be caused by anything, sexual abuse, severe depression, perfectionism to the extreme, that makes someone want to disaper so bad. to some its simply a slow suicide.

Not everyone with anorexia or bulima are as thin as the real girl in the video, they shouldnt sterotype that all people with EDs are skeleton thin. I suffer from anorexia myself and dont weigh 80 pounds but the medical complications are still fatal.
