We are a group of health and education academics and practitioners, service providers and service users. We are a Special Interest Group of the Society for Academic Primary Care www.sapc.ac.uk.

We are committed to raising the profile of Health Literacy as a remediable cause of Health Inequalities in England, and to developing and undertaking research to achieve that. We are keen to link with others with an interest in the area, both within the UK and abroad.
