I have an s-video output on my laptop and an S-video input on my tv. I hooked up the laptop to the tv-with an s-video cable and the audio wire (red and white), however, I am only able to hear audio on my tv and no video or picture can be seen. any suggestions? should i be doing something different?

Can you view all channels even if you are from Canada, i did use some TV on PC streaming software before but I was always getting the following message : " channel not available in your country".

I have purchased couple of TV on PC software but when i do run them i often get the following message: "channel is not available from your country" is this an issue with all TV on PC software?
