Both of you are idiots, SPL, and dB, are both incorrect usages of measurements.
there Is dBSPL, so Decibels measured in Sound Pressure Level, which is what 170.9 represents.
And theres dBVU, dBFS, dBSF, and a hundred other different measurements.
