The Human Development Forum Foundation is a Thai foundation registered in 2007. Our vision is to the address the needs of communities in the framework of Human Security Issues in order to create new opportunities to empower and strengthen the capacities of people. We seek to reach all levels of society from grassroots to top leaders.

HDFFs programs cover a wide range of topics, including disaster prevention and preparedness, conflict resolution, capacity building, and increasing local level participation through the training of communities and local officials. Besides this, the Foundation also conducts research on policy studies and all aspects of human security, including non-traditional security issues and maritime security.

HDFF seeks to develop and implement sustainable programs addressing the needs of the communities in accordance with principles of ethnic and gender equality as well as environmental protection. HDFF pursues its mission with a high level of commitment, and emphasizes the value of voluntary participation.
