@CPatty13 for salmon id recommend a 9' medium lamiglas or gloomis or st croix, there are many models and prices for them so its up to you, higher the price usually means a better rod but all of them are really good, and for a reel id recommend a shimano stradic, stradic fj, or stradic ci4, prefer...
