HATEMAIL, a Blues influenced rock band, were first introduced to each other when they all began studying a music course at Stratford Upon Avon College. They formed a year later, to become what they are now formally known as HATEMAIL.
In their own words they are influenced mainly by classic rock bands from the seventies and eighties such as; Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, AeroSmith.
These influences can be heard in the Lead Singer's vocal style and are definitely present in the strong guitar riffs and solos. The band's material is an overall blend of classic rock anthems with a touch of youth.
The set is a mix of their heavier songs both musically and lyrically such as Answers as well as their lighter tracks including For All My Life and The Drunk Song. The band is currently recording in the studio finishing off their first E.P. which will feature their first four tracks which include; I Let Go, The Drunk Song, Answers and For All My Life.
