I think alot is lost in translation because we can't get a clear view of what he is explaining in detail. I understand it's hard to know where and how the interview/documentary is going to be executed but it's really important to have a plan and be able to immediately identify and rectify the sit...

Handcrafted items are almost existent, in this day and age so, I find this video very interesting.

This is a much better video than the another one I seen of this artist. I liked the shots of him pointing and talking about his artwork with a voiceover of him.

I always liked this doc. it was one of our first ones, If I had to pick anything to adjust it would have been the lightening.

There is more detail to this program that was not mentioned and I would have went one of the card drawing points and got a shot of all the bikes coming in or going out instead of driving beside them on the road also, I would have revisted and filmed the group when they actually delivered the foo...

Man, the thumping of the flag pole pulley is annoying as heck but, the sound over all is good and especially because it's so windy!

I don't like the technique of zoom in zoom out...it's a style and executed well and creatively here but, it's personally not my favorite.

You got to love this man! Even in his experience he could see he tried to attempt at humor to get himself through his nightmare. Love you Gramps!

He is a good story teller and he makes a good personal connect through his words and vivid detail. I know these men would do anything to forget what they have seen and this many years later, that they can verbally describe their experience with such exact detail is mind blowing and bone chilling!

Sam is an awesome man and his true personality is reflected here and that demonstrates raw honesty. Sometime the subjects' true personality is lost and you feel they are telling you someone else's story because, when you turn on a camera the subject is more aware of themselves and they seem uneas...

Sometimes a story evolves out of the main story your documentary is based on and those are the best surprises and most meaningful.

If Gramps had a movie this is it, you captured his story very well!!!

I Love the moving words across the scene!!! Nice touch!!!! I would reconsider the music. To me it sounded more native American wind pipes then Vietnamese but, maybe I don't know the difference? If I'm wrong I think it rides the line and still would have went with an alternative choice.

I always love old memorable it freezes that moment in time and preserves it for those not there and help us contact on a more intimate level.

I personally am a total music freak I enjoy all types of music and love to break down the meanings, messages, melody and etc. Now being more consciously aware of music in movies and commercials only heights that love and appreciation of it.

I'm sure you noticed these comment on my other postings but, we don't get the full learning experience from the examples with out viewing the example clips being played. A side note...The scoring web episodes of this series lack volume it needs to be louder.

The break down of terminology here was awesome. It seems when you know the terminology, even if you don't understand what is going on entirely, if you break up the information coming in on the key terminology you know it helps you link it all together to get a better overall understanding of ...

i always wondered what the preference was when it came to choosing potential creators. Is it educational background or who knows who or what is the process preference? I know it's true with any position the process maybe be the same I think it's a little different when it comes to the arts,thou. ...

It's hard to have a decent comment here because, we did not see the clips so I didn't get much out of this video because, it's describing the clips in much detail.

The industry is very harsh and very elite club but, any success worth obtaining is worth the endless pursuit and some times it's a rewarded pay dirt!

Did I miss the viewing again? or did you not get to film the visual clip? I always love a good "behind the scenes" story! Mike mentioned how Mark was in the "right place at the right time".

Where was the Paramount trailers Mike referred to? Were you not allowed to film those? Listening to everyone and their experiences and where they come from musically and staying true to their number one love, which is musically inclined, it seems like everyone found or fell into a job that is lin...
