Lance.
I attended an acting school while in L.A.Students of the school volunteered as subjects for a make up school
and one day we heard that Bette Davis was in the building at a hair salon on the main floor.A few of us went
down to the salon and saw her.We said hello and she replied before getting into the chair.Another treat I had was when a friend of mine from the school, who owned 3 Porsches asked me to come with him to meet Steve
McQueen at a service station. He was buying some parts from Steve for one of his cars. I did get to shake his
hand and talk to him.I think he was in his late twenties at the time and was doing his western TV show.He was
easy to talk to and very friendly.i also met Lawrence Tierney(John Dillinger) at a party. That was during his down period and he was in bad shape and scary. So I did get to meet a "Tierney"after all.
bye for now.
and right beside me I heard this deep voice.I looked to my right and saw this huge ear.Of course it
was Mr Gable. He was speaking to a young lady to his right.Believe me when you are standing beside and
looking up to such an impressive figure you never forget the moment. Now,if I only had the same experience
with Gene. But I did get to meet Bette Davis.Hard to forget her too.
New York vistas and trying to identify the perpetrator.Gene is wasted in her under developed role. She looked lovely but sad.Apparently she was under sedation during the filming and had problems with memory. It is worth seeing the movie to observe her mature beauty.Quite a change from her early twenties and to me even more
alluring.
