2011년 메가 히트메이커 '용감한형제'의 아이들로 데뷔, 레트로 R&B '아나요', 레게 장르인 '툭하면' 등 기존의 걸그룹들이 시도하지 못했던 장르의 곡들을 선보이며, 음악적 차별화를 주 무기로 삼았던 브레이브걸스가 2012년 가장 트렌디한 사운드 주 무기로 장착하고 새 미니앨범으로 돌아온다.
절치부심하고 컴백하는 만큼 앨범타이틀도 색다르다. 바로 'Re-Issue' 사전적인 의미 그대로 해석하자면 '재발행' 정도의 의미이지만, 자세히 살펴보면 하이픈 (-) 이 들어가있다. '다시' 를 뜻하는 're' 와 '화제, 이슈를 뜻하는 'Issue' 의 합성어로, '재조명', 또는 단어 뜻 그대로 '다시 이슈의 중심에 선다' 라는 의미를 담고 있다. 그만큼 '용감한형제' 와 그의 사단 브레이브 엔터테인먼트 소속 프로듀서진이 칼을 갈고 준비한 앨범임이 느껴진다.
타이틀 곡인 '요즘 너'는 브레이브 엔터테인먼트의 수장이자 명실공히 대한민국 최고의 히트메이커 '용감한형제'의 작품. 일렉트로닉 팝 장르의 '요즘 너'는, 무게감 있는 드럼비트와 리드미컬한 기타 리프, 입으로 연주하는 토크박스 사운드가 트렌디의 정점에 서있는 곡임을 알린다. 특이한 사운드 용감한형제 특유의, 소위 '귀에 꽂히는' 멜로디와, 떠나간 연인을 여전히 사랑하지만 드러내놓고 그리워할 수 없는 슬픈 마음을 이야기한 가사가 특징적이다. '차도녀'를 연상하게 하는 브레이브걸스의 패션 컨셉과 맞물려 무대에서의 퍼포먼스가 더 기대되는 곡이다.
2011년 걸그룹 홍수 속에서 '음원강자' 포지션을 맡았던 브레이브걸스가 2012년에는 '가요/연예계의 블루칩'이 될 수 있을지 기대해보자.

Known as the Korean Beyonce, the lead vocal Hyorin of the girl group SISTAR is casting a love spell on the K-pop scene with her 2012 remake of the song "I choose to love you", originally by Dongmoolwon.
Although Hyorin's trademark is her charismatic singing, the song is sung with a sweet voice like that of a girl fallen in love. Dongmoolwon's poetic lyrics and Hyorin's appealing vocals combine exquisitely for the sweet confession of love.
The song "I choose to love you" was in Dongmoolwon's 6th album released in 1995 and is known as one of their most representative steady numbers. The song has been reborn into a sweet love song with Hyorin's high-quality musical tone and an arrangement that stays true to the original by Chang Won-Gyu and Cho In-Ho of the arrangement team "Itony Music", who contributed to the "rediscovery of Hyorin" in the famous show "Classic Songs" aired on KBS.

'韓国のビヨンセ'と呼ばれるガールズグループ、シスター（SISTAR）のリードボーカルヒョリンが動物園の名曲「君を愛する」のリメイクで、2012年歌謡界に愛の呪文をかける。
カリスマあふれる歌唱力がトレードマークのヒョリンだが、今回「君を愛する」リメイク曲ではまるで恋に落ちた少女のような甘いボイスを聞かせてくれる。動物園特有の詩的な感性がにじむ歌詞とヒョリンの訴える力あふれるボーカルが絶妙に相まって切ない愛の告白をお届けする。
ヒョリンがリメイクした「君を愛する」は、1995年に発表された6枚目のフルアルバムのタイトル曲で多く愛された動物園のステディーナンバーの中の最も代表的な曲だ。今回の「君を愛する」のリメイクは、'ヒョリンの再発見'を作り出したという評価を受けているKBS人気番組'不朽の名曲'で幻想的な呼吸を合わせた編曲チーム'itony music'のチャン・ウォンギュ、チョ・インホが合流して、原曲の感性をそのまま生かしながら、ヒョリンの名品ボイスを使って甘いラブソングに再誕生させた。
'한국의 비욘세'로 불리우는 걸그룹 씨스타(SISTAR)의 리드보컬 효린이 동물원의 명곡 '널 사랑하겠어' 리메이크로 2012년 가요계에 사랑의 주문을 건다.
카리스마 넘치는 가창력이 트레이드 마크인 효린이지만, 이번 '널 사랑하겠어' 리메이크곡을 통해서 마치 사랑에 빠진 소녀 같은 달콤한 보이스를 들려준다. 동물원 특유의 시적인 감성이 베어나는 가사와 함께 효린의 호소력 짙은 보컬이 절묘하게 어우러지며 애틋한 사랑의 고백을 전달한다.
효린이 리메이크한 '널 사랑하겠어'는 1995년에 발표된 6집 정규앨범의 타이틀곡으로 많은 사랑을 받았으며, 동물원의 스테디 넘버중 가장 대표적인 곡으로 손꼽힌다. 이번 '널 사랑하겠어' 리메이크는 "효린의 재발견"을 만들어 내었다는 평을 받고 있는 공중파 인기 프로그램인 KBS '불후의 명곡' 에서 환상적인 호흡을 맞춘 편곡팀 'itony music'의 장원규, 조인호가 합류하여 원곡의 감성을 그대로 살리면서도, 효린의 명품 음색을 통해 달콤한 러브송으로 재탄생 시켰다.
