@triplefull368 Yeah I agree, if you look at the WOGA classic, the American's aren't very well prepared at the moment either. No one is trying to peak now, it's all about later in the year. Right now they are just experimenting with new skills.

@syzlox Yeah that's what I was thinking. The first one is a Gaylord 1, and the second one is like a Makuts except it has an extra quarter turn (on the Diom part of the skill)

Nice routine, but I hate WOGA's technique on stalders.

She should add a leap out of her first pass, it would be much easier to add a jump out of a punch front as opposed to an arabian double front, which she has previously competed. I feel like she also needs to upgrade her spin. But amazing tumbling.

Mustafina dismounts with a tripe full, I don't see why Komova wouldn't be able to as well? And she's been doing the 1.5 through arabian double for three years now (she competed it at WOGA in 2008) so I feel like she is confortable with the pass.

Looks like her worlds routine... Damn this girl needs to learn how to fight. If something isn't 100% right you don't just give up. If she doesn't step it up mustafina and grishina may be the ones competing in the AA finals next year in London

@babynijer99 Bahahahahaha go flip on a four inch beam. Or try to throw a tkachev. Cheerleadering places recruit gymnasts, I would know. They are at my gym everyday. Gymnastics coaches would never be found scouting their next protege at a cheer leading facility.

@ilove17horses She lands low because like the commentators were saying "she is high" on the table. Meaning when her hands hit the vault her body position was around vertical. In order to vault well your hands have to contact the vault as soon as possible to get that "block" or bounce off the vaul...

I feel like Huang deserved the silver, but that's just me. I know her connection bonus is huge, I just prefer Huang's style. Oh well. But her jaeger does seem awkward?

@ChainChomp2 I agree that you cannot sterotype nations, and I love Komova and Mustafina. But it does seem that both has some arrogance issues (which isn't always a bad thing? I think it's nice, a little variation from the average gymnast.)

@mikeypoo0100 She has recently recovered from an injury. At this point we were lucky to see her compete. I have no doubt in my mind that she will win next year. Mustafina, Wieber, and possibly Yao are the only ones who are posing any type of threat.

She had that. She should've ended up with a silver medal and pushed Wieber out of the podium.

@ccaruso81 I agree that she isn't the only one leaping out of her landings. But they look so "half ass" if you know what I mean? Her first one looks like she decided to go for the leap after landing her arabian double. And her last one was not even 90 degrees! Atleast when other gymnasts leap out...
