I remember this song on GMC's old "Metalhead" program at 2 AM Friday nights... killer song! Sounds A LOT like early Korn... makes me REALLY miss "Metalhead". :(

@mccool75 Oh, I didn't watch that telecast... I just couldn't bring myself to do it. This song makes me think of my grandmother who recently died. God love her, she thought wrestling was real and was the only person in the family who didn't make me feel dumb for watching it. Now that she's gone.....

Look, I'm agnostic, but I still like bands like Skillet, Demon Hunter, Haste The Day, As I Lay Dying, The Showdown, Flyleaf, etc. Good music is good music, whether it has religious overtones or not.

I'm not religious, but Skillet is awesome!

This CD and "Bless The Martyr And Kiss The Child" was basically Luti-Kriss/Norma Jean at their peak... after those two epic albums... they've been good, but not nearly as epic as those masterpieces.

To me, "Say Hello To Sunshine" draws some paralells to Weezer's "Pinkerton" CD as in both Weezer and Finch had a highly successful debut commercial record, but when each band did their 2nd CD, people initially just SHIT ALL OVER IT! I'm pretty sure this song has nothing to do with heaven or hell or whether they exist or not. I swear, people look WAAAAAY too much into this shit.

Now, normally I loathe cover songs... but if you can make a great song, turn it into your own, and make it better like Johnny Cash did... then that takes talent.

When I hear this song, I always think of the movie "Varsity Blues"...
