Hello, and welcome to the GunznGear channel! My name is Van, and I truly enjoy guns, shooting, and the outdoors. This channel will be dedicated to guns , camping, hunting, fishing, and gear. I have never been someone who has liked to be in front of the camera, but recently I've been reminded of my mortality. I'm blessed to have both a step daughter, a step son and he has been blessed with a son. My step children and my grandson live far away, so I decided to start this channel to give them, as well as others, some insight into some of my passions, thoughts, and beliefs.

As far as guns and gear, I hope to ad helpful info, and maybe a different perspective to other youtubers. My father provided a great amount of knowledge and insight. I also have had the good fortune to learn from professionals in both the military and law enforcement. We all have biases concerning guns and other gear, and I am no different, but I will hopefully keep it to a minimum. I know what I like and what works for me. I'm also open minded and willing to learn, expand or change my opinions. Like many others, safety is paramount and will never be compromised. I am a dedicated student of personal defense, and other shooting disciplines. I also enjoy learning, and practicing woodsmanship/bushcraft skills. Please note that I have not claimed to be an expert! I AM NOT AN EXPERT!!! I am not in the military! Nor have I ever been. I am not in law enforcement! Nor have I ever been. To the men and women that are, I say THANK YOU!!!
