Groundbreaking ceremony for the Gun Lake Casino in Wayland Michigan

After months of shopping around, members of the Gun Lake Tribe of Pottawatomi Indians have secured financing for the $165 million casino near Wayland.

Hiring at the new Gun Lake Casino is already underway and set to ramp up October 24, the casino's marketing director told 24 Hour News 8 Thursday.
