About this user

I'm Alec, I love to play guitar and blink-182. I am 15 and I go to a High School (not saying which).

So pretty much my whole life I just wanted to be some famous musician that everyone knows and everyone wants to be, just pretty much livin' the good life.

When I was little I wanted to be that famous person but I really had no clue how I was going to do it, I played no instrument, I sucked at singing (I still kinda do) and I had no clue how it was going to happen but I was determined that I was going to do it.
Then when I was abouuuuutttt ummmm.... 13 I discovered my older brother's Squire Fender guitar with the high E string missing in his closet and I pulled it out and wanted to get loud real quick :D. So i searched my whole house for that little practice amp my bro used to have, I finally found it and I still use it today. But all that searching was for nothing because I had no instrument Cable -_____-
So I was banging on this little guitar for about 1 month and my mom/dad finally brought me to this local music shop to get some strings and that cable. My uncle taught me how to put on the strings and how to keep good care of my guitar so that was good I knew how to tune my guitar and stuff without breaking any strings.
So then was when I got my first pick by my friend that came over this one day, he was okay at guitar and he wanted to play my guitar so he pulled out a pick and used it and so he said I could just have his when he noticed I don't have one at all. I still have that pick today and I'm going to try and keep it for as long as I can.
Right after my guitar got fixed up and everything I joined a band right away. I remember the first song I played with them was Everlong by Foo Fighters, but really, when I played that song I had no clue what I was doing. I just played the right chords and swung my hand at the guitar as fast as I could. I did not have a clue about timing xD. So we learned like three songs together and just stopped with everything I guess.
Then a year later I took lessons for about 8 months and stopped and I've bee playing guitar for a little more than 3 years now and hopefully with all my hard work and dedication I will achieve my dream.
