I've played guitar for almost 9 years now, and I love heavy metal music. I must have been "destined" if you want to call it that, to be a musician, as my father was a bass player and a guitar player in a band, his cousin played drums for the famous country star Buck Owens, and his father in law managed him as well. Also, my cousin played guitar, so I'm the next musician in line from my family. I'm in a band that doesn't have a name as of yet. Which I play guitar and sing in, and we all hope to become a well-known band playing concerts in arenas all over the world. We are heavily influenced by Bullet For My Valentine, Metallica, and other metal bands. Most of the lyrics I write have to do with war, anger, things from my past, and sometimes completely random topics. Writing music is my way of finding peace of mind, and getting my feelings out. Most people know me, (or stereotype me as the "rock guy," "the guy in the band," or "the guy who wears all black.")
I also have solo projects I've been working on, like Songs For Her, which is an album I'm currently recording, and every single song will be for my girlfriend. There will also be covers on the album. It will be more of a soft rock album, maybe even some pop and R&B type songs on it, unlike my previous work (like "Nightmare).
When I listen to music, most of the time, I listen to a song based off the mood I'm in, even if it's not metal or rock. That's why I have mood-named playlists.
Other things about me, other than the obvious stuff would be that I love animals, I like to play basketball and other sports like football, tennis, and bowling. I also love to go quading and driving motorcycles, film and edit videos, take pictures, and drawing anything from band logos, to anime (some since drawing their eyes is very agrivating), to random cartoons.'
I love hanging out with my awesome friends and my wonderful, beautiful, and amazing girlfriend. They're always there for me, and I greatly appreciate that. :)
