In spite of CBS's decision to cancel Guiding Light, the show lives on via my fan fiction Guiding Light 2010.

From September to December 2009, Guiding Light takes a hiatus, and you get to see some episodes repeated from the 1937-2009 era. Then, all new episodes begin in January 2010, starting with a 16-week story arc involving Prince Richard Winslow Jr., the 22-year-old clone of the deceased 40something Prince Richard Winslow of San Cristobel. After that, we get to time travel from April 2009 to April 2010, and we get to see lots of exciting plots including partner swapping, baby making, octuplets, and the drama involving the royal families of Springfield and San Cristobel.
