http://Guide2Disn... Take a ride with us on Blizzard Beach's family water slide, Teamboat Springs.
Teamboat Springs is a family raft ride for big kids, teens and adults at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.
Bring the gang aboard and take a rollicking ride down a series of cascading waterfalls. With rafts that accommodate up to 6 Guests, the whole family can ride this one together.
At 1,200 feet long the Teamboat Springs whitewater raft ride is one of the longest family raft rides in the country, giving you a nice long, invigorating journey down the river. Remember, the family that rafts together, laughs together!
To get to Teamboat Springs ride the Chairlift to the top of Mount Gushmore or take the stairway path and follow the signs to the attractions at the Green Slope area of the mountain.

http://Guide2Disn... A video tour of Coronado Springs Resort at the Walt Disney World Resort. One of our favorite Disney moderate resorts that includes a hidden Disney dining gem; Maya Grill.
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is a Southwest-themed Disney Moderate Resort hotel encircling Lago Dorado—a glimmering 22-acre lake—that evokes the spirit and romance of Spanish-colonial Mexico. Follow in the footsteps of explorer Don Francisco de Coronado as he searched for the legendary Seven Cities of Gold while you discover the beauty and fantasy of a unique Resort.
From the welcoming spring-fed Fountain of the Doves to the hidden treasures of the Mayan-ruin themed Dig Site pool, escape to a tranquil lakeside vacation destination where relaxation is your reward. A serene atmosphere infuses the Guest rooms, conference facilities, shops, restaurants and cantinas, inspired by faraway places where time goes by just a little bit slower than usual.
The brightly colored Spanish-style Guest rooms are separated into 3 distinctly themed areas. The Casitas offer an urban terra-cotta paradise. The rustic Ranchos resemble charming Southwestern pueblos. Cabanas provide a quaint beachfront retreat complete with cozy hammocks. Request your favorite.
As you explore the Resort you'll discover a variety of dining options, including quick snacks, and Panchitos (the shop) where you can pick up essentials. Indulge yourself at the full-service salon or play a game of sand volleyball.
Want to unwind after a busy day of treasure hunting? The 22-person hot tub is one of the largest at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Between dips you can stroll down the nature trail or grab a poolside drink at Siestas Cantina.
You might not find gold at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, but the treasure you will find is sure to make you feel like you have all the money in the world.
The Mayan pyramid-themed Dig Site features a sprawling pool with a jaguar-inspired 123-foot long water slide. Kids can have fun looking for hidden treasure at the Explorer's Playground or testing their skill at the game-laden Iguana Arcade.
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort offers 220,000 square feet of flexible function space—including the 86,000 square-foot Veracruz Exhibit Hall and the 60,214 square-foot Coronado Ballroom—with high-speed and wireless Internet connectivity, a dedicated business center, 45 breakout rooms and more.

A video tour of the Ski Patrol and Thin Ice kids areas at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.
Ski Patrol Training Camp is a special aquatic play area just for big kids and preteens at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.
Make a splash at this play area designed especially for kids who aren't quite ready for the bigger waterslides and are too old for Tike's Peak, a special play area just for preschoolers.
Swoosh down curvy waterslides and inner-tube slides. Test your balance with a challenging ice-flow walk across a floating iceberg course. There's even a zip line where children less than 60 inches tall can grab a T-bar and hang on as they zip down over the water and drop into a pool. Kids just have the coolest fun on the mountain at Ski Patrol Training Camp!
Note: The water at Ski Patrol Training Camp is just over 8 feet deep.
Ski Patrol Training Camp is located on the ground level at the base of Mount Gushmore.

http://Guide2Disn... to learn more about the Blizzard Beach Water Park and chair lift.
The Blizzard Beach chair lift has one of the longest lines at Blizzard Beach. It's the preferred way to get to the top of Summit Plummet, Blizzard Beach's famous water slide adventure. Modeled after a ski lift, the Blizzard Beach chair lift gives riders an excellent view of the whole park, many of the rides, and you can wave to the "little people" as you pass over the top of them!
The Chairlift attraction transports Guests of all ages who are at least 32 inches tall to the top of Mount Gushmore in Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.
Take a leisurely ride to the top of Mount Gushmore aboard colorful, wooden, ski resort type chairlifts with umbrellas and dangling skis. The Chairlifts provide a one-way trip to the top of the mountain for access to these water attractions at the Green Slope area of the mountain:
Slush Gusher Summit Plummet Teamboat Springs Note that you cannot take tubes or mats with you on the Chairlift. Also, a Gondola is available for disabled Guests to access the top of Mount Gushmore.
Not Tall Enough to Ride the Chairlift?
Less than 32 inches tall? Don't worry. There is a stairway path to reach the top of Mount Gushmore for access to the water attractions. See the information on each water attraction to check height requirements for the individual attractions at the top of Mount Gushmore.
Disney Water Park Safety
At the Disney Water Parks, Guest safety is of utmost importance and lifeguard duty at the Disney Water Parks is serious business.
Highly trained and qualified lifeguards are on duty over the course of the day patrolling the Water Park. All Disney lifeguards must complete a thorough training program that exceeds most national standards.
