The story of Baraka begins in 2003.Some of the Simav Anatolian Teachers High School's students form a rock band and over the years some members of the band change and then in 2005 this school band becomes an amatour rock band. With a new member, Anil, they are ready to begin their voyage to musicial life.The Band's debut is '19th September Concert' organized by themselves under the name of Ba'Rock'a and interests all the rock music listeners in Simav.After the concert the band's name becomes Baraka and they concentrates on their own songs.But 3 of the band members are absent for a short period of time, as they are studying for their University Entrance Exam.After the Exam, Baraka, carries on with their dand practices, on Sunday the 6th of August 2006 takes place on stage in the Eynal Kaplicalari and on Tuesday the 29th of August 2006 in the Traditional Simav Festival. By the time Baraka takes part in the Nokia Super Sound 06 Song Competition with the piece titled Siyah Korku.
