What is belief? Beliving in someone? Something? A christian belief, or buddist. A belief in something like religion is accepting a certin set of rules, guidelines, practices, and the associated "truths" that go along with it. It is everyones choice to decide what or who to believe in. As our beliefs grow... as we practice beliving in them they become our truth. Again we believe what we want, but how can i believe something to be the truth just because its written, practiced, worshiped or loved. Am I to believe that just because its belived in I have to believe it? How am i to believe the truths based simply on believing it to be true. Its written. God, Jesus, the second coming. all recorded history. or is it? Were we alive then? did we see it? No. but we believe. or maybe better said... we assume. Must we believe every written word we read? We read the bible. It teaches us, betters us. Nothing wrong with that. But could it be that the reality of our beliefs is only as real as we make them. Is there some divine cosmic force above all reason and comprehension. Perhaps. Or do our own beliefs reflect so strongly on ourselves that we our mearly creating our own divine within ourselves. Creating our own miracles. our we not our own gods? The only reason we belive anything is because we precive it to be there. My plate sits on the table. Everything is governed by sets of laws. the plate rest on a hard solid surface. I close my eyes and believe the table is gone. Do i hear a plate shatter? No. Just because we believe in something doesn't make it truth. What concrete evidence do we have of a higher power? None. Just "Strong" "Believed" "Beliefs" Belief doesn't translate into fact. A miricle could just be a very random set of laws playing out with a perfect accordance to time and space. Or an act of God. Could it be that all "GOD" really is is a Perfect transendent super computing entity? That can within the blink of a human eye decifer and equel out each and every atoms path and exsistance?
