NO OVERT ASIAN PRIDE! Be PROUD, but not a chauvinistic pig like that Chinese culture knowledgeable British guy called MightySino or that Korean culture knowledgeable Turkish (as in Korean, *rolleyes*) caucasian-asian mixed guy called StarDestroyer888! Chinese and Asians in general don't need much cultural or ethnic pride. Why? Because we are and have everything, and we should know that in our hearts. Racial and cultural pride are for those who are not sure or not really confident about their culture or race. Know your Chinese history, and know your heart. It's unnecessary to brag about anything, especially ethnicity and race, as it's like reverse racism

About this user
I know that if I was to properly describe myself in this day and age and in this relatively unruly cyberspace environment, I would best serve the civilization of man (and woman ^,^) by offering the following foundation of my being:
East Asian people here in the west are generally represented by those various ethnicities of the Chinese nation, the peoples of Japan, Korea, Vietnam (these nations own sub-ethnic groups), south, southeast, some parts of central Asia (especially Kyrgyzstan) and north Asia, not to mention the American natives. Without having to go back TOO FAR in prehistoric time to trace human roots in Africa, we can find more immediate facts, that most east Asian people as we generally see them today, are consanguineous most directly from the northern grasslands and watery Siberia just like me ^.^ since I'm 1/4 Manchu 1/4 Mongol 1/2 Han, though it would be hard to tell since there's relatively a great deal of homogenity from north to south Asia. North Asians, north of Chinese and Mongolian boundaries, are the various highly pure Mongoloid ethnic groups isolated in the cold tundra.of the far north, much like the genetic isolation the highly pure Mongoloids who live in historically remote areas of China, and even the Korean peninsula and the Japanese islands tend to be. This is generally accepted rule, and of course there are some variations.
The Mongoloid race had extended for over ten thousand years to the farthest reaches of the globe. We are great survivors. The Mongoloid people as we popularly see and subdivide them today consists of (in no particular order) Han, Manchu, Mongol, Hui-Dungan, Miao, Yakut, Tibetan, Dai, Yi, Daur (Khitan), Ewenki, Bai, Burmese, Wa, Qiang, Korean (Choson-in/Hanguk-in), Tuvan, Samoyedic, Yukaghir, Chukotos of Kamchatka etc ETC too many to list!. You can include the Eskimo people of north America and Greenland as well. If there's one thing that's most striking about all these people, is that they're EAST ASIANS ^.^ like me! Oh.. I should also mention native America people! All that Turkish pride nowadays claim my ethnicity as theirs, and all that unrefined haplobaloney DNA stuff is largely pseudo-science if the research have not taken DNA samples from most of the people in the populations. How many of us are tested for those bold DNA claims anyways O.O When all samples are finally accounted for, which is A LOT, the Asian haters and secessionists will be in for a rude awakening! Please look in the mirror, and cherish the great history of man, and woman-kind!!!!!!!! No matter who you are ^.^
Warning: There are some haters going around Youtube making such historically inaccurate and ridiculous statements such as: ''Koreans and Viets were slaves of the Chinese empires''. Any intelligent and historically saavy Chinese person will know that countries such as Korea, Japan, Ryukyu, Mongol Khanates, Dai Viet, Champa, Siam, Bhutan, Nepal, Java, etc have historically been tributary or vassals of the various Chinese dynasties, and NOT SLAVES. These vassal states since very ancient times have supported and helped make China the biggest economic power and military might for most of civilized history. As modern people of the Chinese nation, we'll bow our heads to the great service of these nations that were once the tributaries and vassals and learners of our culture and of our nation's great history. I'd even say, there are things that they've adopted from our culture, we can actually relearn from them, such as the very many knowledgeable Japanese and Koreans in the studies of Confucianism.
I'm a fairly hard working working class girl who enjoy music, history and arts, but I'll admit I enjoy material things too, but I don't like showing off material things and don't like it when people showoff themselves under a cover of material things. I think people are beautiful for who they are and not for how they look and what they have. I don't like hotshots who manhandle anything from a conversation to body parts, and entertain people with ignorance, especially those pathetically sad cases going around cyberspace with their hate and racist phallus worshipping.
I also believe that the world will be a better place to live when we all experience and respect each others attributes and unique qualities, and not submit to political or theocratic hegemony. When we achieve this love, peace and respect, we can then address to each other all the problems in the world, and things will become better and better. I believe darkness will prevail before light does, once again.
