Theres nothing official from Honda i don't think yet. More than likely be a 1.6 Turbo or 2.0 Turbo. Kinda looses the Type R ethos IMO. A 4 pot turbo just puts it with the others, unless it still uses a second cam lobe etc. Hopefully it's gonna be quite light and handle.

The K20 can make 270 with cams, and the standard block with some JDM cams can make well, whatever you want it to. A saxo usually last a few weeks until it blows up. Differe...

@Grov22 The tuning possibilities are just as good on the Mazda, 290 is easily available with just a remap, well over 300 with stage 2 and 3. The Focus ST is also much worse on fuel, and the Mazda has a nicer interior IMO. Tax is only once a year, i bet the mazda is cheaper to insure so that makes...

Could be a Mk1 RS, there about the same as a EP3 which is 1204KG. Mk2 RS is much heavier yes around 1450kg.

@Turbomier Well tuning is always going to make much better power on F/A engines, isn't it turbo'd and supercharged? Have you left the stock clutch and gearbox? I doubt you'll be running 240bhp for long, reliably.

A turbo'd Type R can run 500 on stock internals, they do in america.

You never stood a chance. A JRSC is quick, no doubt, but better at rolling starts. A Nova weighs bugger all in the first place, it's made of cardboard, so stick a 2 Litre in it, and Nitrous, and it's obviously going to be fast. Drop a V6 Twin turbo in the Civic and it will be faster. get it?
