Really, I own both and it's a tribute to the PRS as much as anything. Very nice tone. I own an AC15, and even tho he is looping it, there is something else to that amplug that adds a nice tone. I may have to get one myself.

Good stuff man. I bought this and I have so much fun with it because I'm a tone freak. I play a C-1 Classic, which emulates a great fender tone and a PRS, which is plays like butter through the POD. The Pod is simply the best tool I own in my studio. Not to mention how much you get for your buck ...

I really like the sound of that echo Hamer. I've never been a big fan of those. But this vid changed my mind. And I own a PRS McCarty and a C-1 classic. Great tone you get by the pod this way....cool, simple demo. You should do more with your pod.

I"ll stick with my POD HD 500 and my Vox AC 15...still love this guys stuff, man. That Vox has a cool sound, even the guitar..I've always admired those kind of guitars.

What's funny is, reverb aside, the Vox sounds way better than the mod. And I own a Line 6; I just play it through a Vox AC 15 because it sounds better than the line 6 amp.

Great playing, man. I got the line 6 and I think it all sounds better through the AC 15 with the other amp mods too. The best amp for the POD HD 500 was the AC 15, I bought.

I hated this thing when I first bought it along with my PRS McCarty and Vox AC 15. I must say, however, I LOVE this thing now. Anyone who likes tone and loves vintage and expensive amps, but can't afford the money or, for me, space it takes to own them all....go with this product. I'm a tone brat...

Funny thing I found at the music store, the Vox AC15 and AC30 sound better with the Line 6 amp modeling stuff than anything. So I bought a Vox AC15 for my studio. Saves me a lot of money on amps now. I couldn't be happier than I am with the Line 6.

I'm not sold on the guitars, but the POD HD 500 is great. And I'm a tone snob. I played an 80's Schecter until I bought a PRS McCarty. I've owned all sorts of amps in between. The other effects are things I've heard before, but the TONE....this pod is about TONE.

What kind of guitar are you playing?

I bought a PRS McCarty, A Vox replica of the old one...and the POD. I hated the POD HD 500, because it's not easy to program. I'm still learning. But after watching what it can do, I love it. And I'm just working on a bit of front end tone, which won't take much at all...but these are great vids ...

It all starts with the guitar man. I recommend stepping up from that guitar and then you won't need this.

These are great with PRS guitars and Vox amps.....

I play my PRS McCarty through this and I have never gotten a better tone out of a PRS/Vox AC15 amp.... It's NOT meant for distortion. But it is meant for using distortion pedals, which sound great. If you're on a budget of some sort, go for the POD. But whatever you do, try this AC15...it's a ver...
