I am old enough to have sung along with the Weavers when their songs were played on the radio, but somehow I never heard of their Carnegie Hall reunion concert, or I would have gone to NYC and paid scalper prices to get a ticket! How fortunate you were to have been there!!

I've always been a Hank Williams fan, but I just realized that he died at age 29. Wow! All that talent in such a youngster!

One of my bunkmates at Fort Belvoir, VA played his transistor radio in 1963 at night, and this song was often played on WAVA-FM from Arlington, VA. Fond memories for me...
