Gone with the pope will have a 4D Red Ray release at the rate this is getting done

I'm not defending their laziness. Just pointing out that we wouldn't have the movie at all if it wasn't for their hard work. It's still being shown in theaters. Just be patient. Their releases are top notch. It will be worth the wait.

Massacre Mafia Style is a completely different story. There was a mix up with the distribution rights, and they were unable to legally distribute the film on DVD.

with all that being said. like i stated before i do love the "idea" of grindhosue releasing and their releases that they actually put out are nice. "even though EVERY movie they have done has also had 3 other releases too"

they have a one of a kind film and could make the best dvd release EVER if they would just do it. they just know they got us exploitation film fans by the balls and are milking it HARD

@richiegecko79 - you do realize that 5 other companies were willing to do what grindhosue releasing has done but could not buy the rights cause grindhouse would not sell it. These companies would have had it out a long time ago. Just look at "massacre mafia style" grindhouse has had the rights to that for dam near TEN YEARS and have done nothing with them. Jeff Mitchell made an awesome release for the movie "2 disc, mini poster, TONS of bonus features" and made it in a reasonable time frame.

the number one problem i have it that grind house releasing won't even give us the courtesy of giving a release date, no updates AT ALL about the dvd, no specs, no news, NOTHING. it might be 5 more years till we get a dvd release and by then there will probably be "green ray" or some other stupid technology forced on us.

@horrorfan1 you do realize Gone With the Pope wouldn't even exist in it's current form without Grindhouse Releasing, right? They didn't just buy the rights to the film - they finished it. Cut these guys some slack, they are doing some fantastic work.

another 2 moths go by. No updates on when of IF "gone with the pope" will be released, or shown. God i love the IDEA of this company, but gotta get more active

I second that

i'm starting to despise "grind house releasing" they buy up the rights to GREAT movies then do NOTHING with them. they have had the rights to massacre mafia style for over 6 years promising a GREAT dvd release and still have not done it. they have been dragging their feet with gone with the pope for about 6 years also FINALLY releasing it in theaters, and now they will not release the dvd for probably another 2 years they get great movies but do nothing with then it's horrible. LOVE the IDEA of this company.... but no updates is even worse. give us a release date or something
