About Me:
Strive himself was born in a tough state 'Afghanistan' and been through alot but music helps him express his ways and it is very unique for an Afghan to get noticed in the scene.
Strive used to live in NORTH LONDON, NORTHUMBERLAND PARK and he knew he had talent but didnt show it until he went to a school called NPK and started to show off his talent, he had many who were impressed but mostly haters who kept him going and Strive was known as 'Skamz' back in the days & he made many collaberations with artists, He became stronger in Grime as he was listening to Signed artists such as Chipmunk, Marvell and others who all lived in his neighbourhood.
Strive then moved out to WEST LONDON, , its very difficult to become as rated as Strive would like to, its not easy to get to the place he would like to be at and got into other type of music which is called 'Underground Music' and Strive started to attend to Open Mic Events and went to see people perform such as 'Lowkey' & 'Logic MC' this made Strive think twice about what he spat about in his music and so he changed his ways and started spitting about relevant topics such as democracy, war, poverty.
Strive has great potential and wants to get his name heard and spread his music and mostly wants people to feel his pain in his expression of music and know where hes going with it.
His aims to become a young artist who should be well known. Strive doesn't want to meet anyone, he doesn't have an idol but for sure he wants to get far and hopefully make progress in music.
Strive also has interests in the acting industry and takes all the audition chances he opportunitied with, back in 2009 Strive made a short voluntary film about knife crime called 'Street Life' and was also offered a deal by Play Deep Studios but refused the offer because it was the way up to the mainstream and it had alot to do with what he hated the most (Illuminati).
Strive also runs his own TV Entertainment called STRIVE.TV which can be found on youtube account 'grimeking09'. Strives Recording Up & Coming Signed And Unsigned Artists, Something Like Promotional But Paid Work, Based In West London Records Artists - Hood Videos, FreeStyles, Comedy, Music And Short & Full Length Films.
Strive has STV - Life In London Series Coming about youths who grew up in London and how difficult the hood is for them and what they're experiences have been.
