When the Zombie Apocalypse comes in 2012... Damn straight me and my bike are gathering the riders and making straight for the castle. We will be reachable via radio broadcasting on most AM frequencies.
a few tips
1) a zombie can only be stopped by removing the head or destroying the brain. Aim carefully as you might not get another chance.
2) Get everyone who is of use to you together in one secure, fortified position.
3) Make sure all doors and windows are locked.
4) Try to contact other survivor groups and stick together.
5) Raid nearby stores for supplies, if you have guns, great, if not... do not go looking for them. That is exactly what everyone who is scared and feeling crazy will do. It's also where the highest concentration of infected will be.
6) If you need to get food, send a few hunters out. Do not leave your base unattended. I myself (despite being the leader) am also the hunter. I will be taking along my two dogs (Sam and Dex) along with a 30 cal. rifle, Spas 12 gauge and two 6 shot S&W revolvers.
7) Try not to argue, i know some people are dicks but we can't survive if we're at eachother's throats. If we kill eachother there is nobody left to keep the hoard at bay.
8) Use vehicles as often as possible, keep them supplied with gas using jerry cans. (Get these as early as possible if you don't want to run out of gas stations with any left.)
9) Above all... Stay alive brothers and sisters... Stay alive.
