I had one on trial in 1962 and it worked well with "pop" music. But on classical with its numerous quite passages, the tape hiss due to the permanent magnet erasure was too obtrusive so I returned it.

I saw this film in 1948 when I was 15. Thanks to humoresque19464u, I can watch it in the comfort of my home and now properly understand and enjoy it .

It was a lot more than just puttting fluid in the Zippo - the gentleman's very professional demo raised quite a number of points I would have never thought about.
You won't be watching MY vid "How to turn on the kitchen tap" then as that runs for 19 minutes!
