I agree with your views about gold and silver. But not sure I agree with you about keynesianism. It was keynesian type policies which pulled the world out of depression in the 1930s, especially re-armament in the late 30s which brought unemployment down to almost nothing.

Some people can face reality, but most people would rather live in a fantasy world and don't want to be woken from it! You'll just be wasting your time on them. Worry about preparing yourself, and the people who are open minded. It's very frustrating to be surrounded by people who are clueless!

Try buying it from America. If you get government issue coins (silver eagles, maples etc) they are exempt from import duty and VAT as they are legal tender. Look up the Silver Eagle Coin Company on google.
Never tried selling it though!

@egrorian1 Dire! That's rather harsh. It is a very different style from the original. Big Country turned an OK Roxy Music song into a masterpiece. Not that there's anything wrong with the other versions. A matter of taste I guess.

@yobnez Cool record. I love this old soul music from the 60s and 70. Do you have any idea where I could get this on cd or download it?

That's one of the best songs of the Driving to Damascus album. Quite a heartfelt but sad song. Maybe it says a lot about Stuart Adamson's state of mind in his last few years.

@gardeneroo7 This song came from 'Steeltown' their second album. In my opinion that was their best album, and this was one of the best songs on it, but all of their albums were ace..... In fact this is one of their best songs full stop!

The lyrics to this are cryptic! It's impossible to decipher what this song is about!

At about 8:40 he sounds like he's about to burst out crying! Good stuff though. Shame that FYC only ever made two (very good) albums.
