I agree with your views about gold and silver. But not sure I agree with you about keynesianism. It was keynesian type policies which pulled the world out of depression in the 1930s, especially re-armament in the late 30s which brought unemployment down to almost nothing.

Some people can face reality, but most people would rather live in a fantasy world and don't want to be woken from it! You'll just be wasting your time on them. Worry about preparing yourself, and the people who are open minded. It's very frustrating to be surrounded by people who are clueless!

Try buying it from America. If you get government issue coins (silver eagles, maples etc) they are exempt from import duty and VAT as they are legal tender. Look up the Silver Eagle Coin Company on google.

Never tried selling it though!

@egrorian1 Dire! That's rather harsh. It is a very different style from the original. Big Country turned an OK Roxy Music song into a masterpiece. Not that there's anything wrong with the other versions. A matter of taste I guess.

@kelhar33 Sadly so. In my opinion they're one of the great overlooked acts of rock. Hopefully someday they will get the recognition they deserve.

How is the US version different from the UK version? It sounds the same to me!

@gardeneroo7 This song came from 'Steeltown' their second album. In my opinion that was their best album, and this was one of the best songs on it, but all of their albums were ace..... In fact this is one of their best songs full stop!
