I love the show and the production but yikes Aaron Lazar is the weak link when it comes to the Italian, so over chewed and unnatural!

I think she's amazing for even attempting to do this song live, it is an unsingable song really. Firstly, the song is only taken down a tone, a pretty common transposition. Secondly, she is being expected, still, to belt above a high C over and over again for 4 minutes! If musical theatre singers...

'You leave me breathless' seems like an apt lyric listening to his aspirate tone. Still, it's well done.

I can't believe how much better the filmed version of this song is! It's hard to explain the subtle difference, it sounds like she doesn't belt as much in this one and keeps the vocal quality much lighter, she sounds younger. Where as when the voice is it bit heavier she sounds like she has lived...
